Insects Outside

This collection is based on the theme of insects and flora outdoors. Brooke has always had a love for nature with all its colours and textures and has brought that to life in a fun and playful way through the use of hand and digital print. Patrick Heron has been her main inspiration throughout the designing and making of this collection with his simple childlike paintings because of his use of layered texture and colour. Her screen prints use screen colour separation giving the collection a handcraft technique. The collection has been made for children’s and womenswear spring summer with a fabric selection of silks and cottons.
