Instagram x United Nations - Disability History Month

Instagram and the UN partnered with me to create two illustrations in honour of Disability History Month 2020. They asked me to think about what Disability History Month meant to me and how to represent this in my illustrations for the project. I choose to centre the idea of 'community' in my work for this project because of the centrality of the disabled community in my life after being diagnosed with two chronic illnesses and how that connectivity creates collective healing amongst us.
