This is a experiment project about visualising human body's activities, in this case I try to visualise the five major elements which are Oxygen saturation, Breathing rate, Blood pressure, Pulse and Temperature.
The situation when people accidentally fell into his/her most vulnerable status is worth to observe and care about, especially the only information while people sick or unconscious are numbers and data, what he/she can tell you about the a himself/herself without speaking, touching or moving? Another aspect of I found interesting is the appearance of the modern medical equipment is not looks “modern” as its functions, especially in the age of science and technology, which you probably noticed the interface of the life supporting system or vital signs monitor suppose to be the part that communicating to you most instead the monitor that hard to understand. So I’d like to figure out why it happens by designing an alternative solution, and see will it answer the question. The ultimate goal for me on this project is enhance body activities into a strong visual representation to reflect people’s most intimate moment with machine.
