I was given a brief to boost staff morale and create a sense or community while still using this event to educate staff on news within the company. I did this by creating a weekly friday Launch that incorporated presentations of the company, a new food truck with a different cuisine every week and a games area to relax and unwind. The combination meant staff were informed, and were happy to be. The lunch didn't just feel like an overload of information, it was a time to come together and create new ideas in a relaxed environment.
