Interstellar presents an interpretation of future fashion. Looking towards the inspiration behind the costume design in sci-fi classics such as Alien, Tron, and 2001: A Space Odyssey, I was able to combine this with current trends within athletic wear to create a practicle style with a futuristic touch.
Incorporating different technology such as thermochromatic ink and lights within the materials helped enhance the image of advanced fashion, initially seen within the costume design of these sci-fi films.
