IntoTheBlue Website Redesign

  • Wayne Grant
ITB Website One of the largest projects at IntoTheBlue was designing the new responsive website. This represented a totally new future and necessitated a complete redesign from the ground up, there had to still be a consideration for how the new site worked with the present CMS and SEO which had to be implemented from the old website.
Website Goals
There were many goals for the new site, but the main target was to capture the increasing mobile traffic. Other goals included introducing a new shopping basket to increase conversion rates and make the end user buying process as easy and seamless as possible. The end result was an increase in traffic across the board due to capturing extra users from mobile channels, more engaging content with videos being offered as a viewing option, and a basket page that was not only easy to use but also helps the end user to complete their buying process
New Search Function
Working with Binary Bear agency who advised us on all things UX based, analytic data was showing IntoTheBlue that the search field was our most used assert on the homepage. So we put this UI element front and centre for the user, with over 2000 product to find, it was clear to us the user loved using this search feature.
User Feed Back
Intotheblue loves user feedback, so it was important to place the Feefo information above the fold to let our user know how important their reviews our to us as a company. Feefo Data was also used to implement new design ideas into the site.
IntoTheBlue Wireframe
IntoTheBlue UI ideas were tested using wireframe design before any ideas where finalized into the live website. This process helps us understand how the UI and UX effect the end user and gives us a clear visual viewpoint to work from.
