At the age of eight, Olivia Ronzani inherited her Nonna‘s sewing box - fashionista, mother, wife, second generation Italian in Switzerland. After 20 years, she finds it again and begins to ask questions. With each attempt to grasp her grandmother‘s life, it seems to slip more and more from her fingers.
This performance is a fragmentary narrative, a navigation between one‘s own and others‘ memories of a grandmother whose heroic deeds were not and are not regarded as achievements. Who do we remember and for what, and how much do our ancestors become a projection screen for our own questions?
