Istanbul is a documentary, which I made in 2006.
The content of this project had been recorded in Istanbul between June 2005 and September 2006. The recordings include coincidental moments and situations in which I attempted to describe The City of Istanbul.
During the montage process, the pieces were assembled together as a collage work with a style that may provide reference to the concept of 'Flâneur' and Dziga Vertov's 'The Man with a Movie Camera'
The film about this "uncertain city" contains only the definition of the locality on the presence moment and tries to picture the silhouette of the city with the coexistences of the pieces.
