The Brief: Write a Manifesto for the Art School, communicating your vision of the future.
Arts education has had a big impact on society, and has brought creative minds to shape the world of today. Responding to an ISTD 2014 brief, I produced, and designed a manifesto that envisions the Art School of the 21st century. The Art School Manifesto, ‘We Are Artists’, comprises of 34 declarations that reflect the importance of creativity within our society. Every creative innovation that we see today has at some point been informed by the work of artists.
These statements serve to affirm the continuing relevance of the art school. The selection of images show an example of the contents in a randomised pack, and methods of how this would reach students in higher education fairs or online.
