ISTD publication

A few pages of the publication produced for the International Society of Typographic Designers, it invites readers to reconsider the significance of numbers in their lives, and how data and everyday mathematics combine to help envision what the future may hold through the power of prediction. The publication aims to shine a new light on these elements that intertwine with our lives through the use of typography. Publication takes inspiration from weather reports and weather forecasts. We are all familiar with weather predictions and numbers play an important role in this. It determines what the next few days and weeks will bring. The publication is inspired by old fashion weather reports, manuals and aviation meteorology manuals. These are text-heavy publication and well-structured pieces of reports. The overall feeling of the publication combines both traditional and contemporary report style.
