At present, I am working as the editorial designer of the Quaderno magazine at ITALIANspaceWISE. ITALIANspaceWISE was founded by the Italo-British Architect Margherita Cesca Nelder-Haynes. Margherita created Quaderno (Italian for copybook) to promote small, medium and big Italian businesses and artisans to the UK design scene. The initiative was born in 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic, during which Italy’s economy and morale were heavily affected by the deadly virus. Last April, I reached out to Margherita to express my admiration for her initiative and offered to help her. I gave ITALIANspaceWISE a fresh and modern brand identity that can be used flexibly across different social media channels. I also committed to design and curate the future issues of the Quaderno magazine. Margherita and I are also working together to write a solid business plan for ITALIANspaceWISE. We are setting out a feasible strategy and action plan for the future of the company, which evaluates different ways to leverage Quaderno to advertise Made in Italy products in London and the UK.
