JACOB SUTTON

Born in 1979 in Bath England, in 1999 he moved to London where he completed a degree in photography at London College of Printing. His first main fashion shoot was for Dazed in 2005 and since then he has contributed to magazines including US Vogue, British Vogue, L’Uomo Vogue, W Magazine, Interview, the Last, New York Times T Magazine, Numero, Numero Homme, 10 Men and Another/Another Man.
Jacob’s stills commercial clients include Lacoste, Nike, Target, Hermes, Stella McCartney for adidas, Y-3, Loewe, Bergdorf Goodman and Burberry, for whom he shot numerous campaigns including "The Beat" fragrance, Blue and Black Label, eyewear and timepieces.
Jacob has been at the forefront of the recent boom in fashion films, shooting for such esteemed brands as Swarovskii and YSL Beaute, and for editorial clients including, iD, New York Times, The Last Magazine and Post.
His most recent moving image projects have included: a TV commercial for Target, film for iD in association with Diesel (A to Z of Dance), Vichy skincare; a trailer for Disney/Dreamworks’ Warhorse, commissioned by Steven Spielberg; a beauty film for Chanel; the Adidas Team GB2012 film and a snowboarding film for Nowness.com that went viral overnight, attaining over 3 million hits across multiple platforms.
His work has also been exhibited: 'Bermuda Triangle' at Spring Projects, London and 'Oh! You Pretty Things' at Liberty’s exhibition space in London.
He lives and works in London.
