John Lewis & Partners 2018 Christmas campaign is about the power of a gift. And how that gift inspired, changed and influenced the course of a little boy’s life. That little boy just happened to be Sir Elton John. We teased the campaign by removing ‘Lewis & Partners’ on the Oxford Street store fascia, leaving just ‘John’ for eagle eyed shoppers to spot. We also changed the theme tunes for some of ITV’s most iconic shows to bespoke Elton inspired piano solos. We rebuilt the set from the ad in the Oxford Street store for a unique behind the scenes experience and online we created immersive content to show how the ad came together and what real life moments inspired it.
