Design agency Dixon Baxi asked us to take part in their ongoing project Join the dots: a series of A2 posters celebrating the spirit of collaboration.
The brief was simple: Each collaborator is given a template of a dot in a fixed position on an A2 portrait poster and then asked to interpret this in their own way.
Ampersands join words & phrases, people & places, ideas & experiences, me & you… Our typographic interpretation combines a range of these wonderful old characters to represent lots of individual collaborations, each one joining together to form a whole circle.
Hand typeset using a variety of wood type, and 12pt Stephenson Blake Condensed Sans No. 7. Printed in two colours in a very limited edition of just 8.
