There's one question in the mind of every soon to be graduate during their degree show. Will I get a job?
To try and answer this, Dan Beaven and I used an algorithm to analyse the emotions of the visitors to our show to give us an idea of how much impact our work was having.
In the middle of the space, a sci-fi disc hovers above head height, taking pictures at 3 second intervals. These pictures were fed into an algorithm which analyses emotions from facial expressions.
