Judgements

  • Emma Gray

My extended study project is on judgements in our society and whether the society we live in today has become to judgemental. My work is to make people more aware of the judgements they make and the impacts these have on others lives. I feel as a society we are becoming more judgemental and this is having a negative impact on peoples wellbeing, mental health and the way we interact with others. I created a zine on the news story of Boris Johnson in which he called women who wear the burqa ‘letter boxes and bank robbers’. Within this zine I interviewed a number of British citisens and asked their opinion on the subject matter and why there is so much controvery around the subject matter. The zine is made up of photographs I took of the people I interviewed focusing in on their eyes.
