Judith and Salomé are identical, yet different. Both show in a progressive order the 36 permutations, all the possible variations of the system. The manual process to make them creates the differences between the two pieces, otherwise perfeclty alike.
Sameness and differences play on the surface of the paper, in the texture of the black signs.
Only 10 plates have been used to print each paper, that was processed four times in a row. Between 12-15 hours were needed only to print each of them.
