K-jjang: k-pop event

FutuRamen was invited by L'Aeronef de Lille to organize the first Korean Pop Event on October 16, 2015 in Lille, France in conjunction with the exhibition 'Seoul, Vite, Vite!' and the year of France-Korea. Named K-jjang ('jjang' being an exclamative word in Korean to mean the best!) it marks FutuRamen's move into In Real Life design, connecting the online and offline experience. We worked alongside the most ambitious event planners, graphic designers and promoters to create a unique experience with the aim of enlightening people to new ideas, concepts and cultures.

The event included a k-pop dance workshop and flash mob in the center of Lille ; a DJ set by GeunYoung Choi (S.Korea): known for remixing both K-pop songs and videos; Mazurbate (NYC), an internationally acclaimed DJ who splices together an eclectic mix of raggaeton, hip hop, k-pop and dance; performances throughout the evening by I Love Dance (NYC), the most famous K-pop dance crew outside of Korea; and a unique ambiance and design.
***K-jjang will continue to bring unique K-pop inspired experiences to various European cities in 2016.***
