Establish a brand that seamlessly creates balance between branded and original content while keeping the language crisp, clean and apparent in a friendly manner
About the Design

The identity reflects the belief and commitment that the brand swears by, i.e. strike the balance. The design approach was to show films have a great impact on our lives. While the light-hearted movies amuse us, the hard-hitting stories influence us. We take something or the other from every film we watch. And since Kettle Black Films is a mix of the two, the logo utilizes the positive and negative space to depict balance, while retaining a top view of the kettle as the final shape. Outside reel communicates the area of expertise of the brand.

The colours show the area of operations of the brand. Black represents original content and white represents branded content that the company makes.
