Kisah Kita
Kita Kisah (Our Story) is an interactive history in a box. It is a place to experience an engaging journey into the lives of historical Indonesian women during the revolution era. Get to know Evie Putiray's life. Each element within the kit contains stories and information to piece together her life -from photographs, newspapers to illustrations. Sharing the fascination of these bygone eras with children. Celebrating these wonderful women's contributions to Indonesia, learn about the country they are from and where they stand. This project is about highlighting the untold narratives of historical Indonesian women -each kit focusing on one individual from different parts of the archipelago. Conveying this experience through a tactile matter is important because it is a way to make this accessible to as many Indonesians. This is delivered with the intention of representation and authenticity -made by Indonesians for Indonesians across the globe.
The Content
The activity kit contains profile cards, a guide book, a map, archives (articles and photographs), a puzzle, stickers and jointed figure.
Upcoming Kits
As this could either be a subscription kit or released twice a year, the series will not end with just these four women. The storytelling of historical Indonesian women continues.
