Our brief was to capture an emerging artist whose perspective and story would resonate with, and expand, Beats’ audience.
After researching and selecting our up and coming artist, we worked with Kojeys team to establish a narrative for the shoot.
Kojey Radical is a spoken-word poet and musician. Kojey’s music explores issues of identity, race, class and social unrest. Our focus was to learn more about his journey, growing up in Hackney, and the process behind his new album ‘If Only’.
