Koochy

  • Emily Tisk

Koochy is a new, youthful women’s sexual wellness brand, changing the way people think and explore pleasure in UK. Gone are the days when the topic of desire in women has been taboo - Koochy celebrates self-love and is all about normalising the conversation about sex and sexuality. I was commissioned to create a compelling visual character that would best represent the bold and quirky tone of the company.

To support the brand’s purpose, I have created a bold, condensed logotype that has a vintage feel; colour palette that shows trendy nudes and pinks mixed with contrasting and recognisable reds and electric blues.  The primary serif and sans serif font mix creates a modern look and feel, while additional vintage typefaces are used to show unique names of the products.  Pushing away from the traditional and at times intimidating sex toy product photography, I have created a series of whimsical illustrations  and patterns that work as funny sexual innuendos without looking too aggressive and focusing on the playful approach.
