Kscope Podcast

150 months ago I started a podcast with BBC and Brentford FC’s Billy Reeves for the Kscope label. This month we celebrate the release of episode 150, which means we have been producing this for over twelve years and it’s still one of my favourite projects I do for Snapper. I have really enjoyed working with Billy, every month brings a new challenge, especially if there are no front-line releases to shout about, but this forces us to think outside of the normal and go to a “Vinyl Restock” or “Live” episode which have often turned out to be the most rewarding. I’m very proud of the job we do, and we’re out there as a rarity amongst podcasts - a show produced by and about an independent record label with interviews and new music. I don’t know why more labels don’t do this, they give unique insights into the work that goes into the albums/shows and often release exclusive plays of new music.
