La Gaceta de San Diego

  • Rick Cuenca

Editorial material made as part of San Diego Cemetery visual identity program. San Diego is the oldest cemetery of Quito. We were looking to engage tourist and people from the neighbourhood with antique cemetery legends and its stories. In order to create an elegant solution, we decided to make a bimonthly publication in a newspaper format. To compose the publication, we used a classic graphical language distilled from the sheer variety of architecture styles from the cemetery. With the use of typography and patterns alongside a limited use of color, the result was an attractive editorial design.
