La Perla has been synonymous with luxury items for over 60 years.
The celebrated Italian heritage brand made a name for itself by creating beautiful pieces that combine artisanal techniques with cutting edge innovations. Having begun as a lingerie and swimwear atelier, it now offers full Womenswear, Menswear and Accessories collections.
I spent a year at La Perla as Global Online Customer Experience Manager, crafting the creative concepts required for product promotion and writing and editing all online customer-facing content. This included site-wide editorial updates, newsletters, social media posts, legal and operational information - all translated into 11 languages over 27 websites.
I also assisted with creative direction on Christmas and Valentines Day campaigns and provided guidance to Customer Services and store Sales Executives on focused VIP communications.
I continue to contribute to La Perla on a freelance basis, below are examples of work I have created as a contractor. This includes product descriptions and developing standard phrases for explaining tricky construction methods and exclusive finishes in a customer-friendly way.
