Land Swallow by Ryan Skelton

A visual album of sorts that covers a 1 year span from June 2017 to May 2018 - each month featured is like a track. A very personal record of Ryan's sexuality, shown through performance based self portraiture and improvised dance for video in collaboration with Saskia Dixie. The book was treated more as an art object than an edition, as it is perfect bound but housed within a re-purposed Punch annual from the mid 19th century. The paper used is recycled and the book also includes hand sewn pages taken from Ryan's personal diary, all handwritten.
