Laws Not Tweets

In the wake of the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history, we kicked off an initiative called #LawsNotTweets, aimed at getting people to learn about the political hypocrisy towards gun violence – and take action. The Laws Not Tweets website exposes politicians' "thoughts and prayers" tweets after mass shootings, in contrast to how they voted on sensible gun laws. Users can then contact them directly, and even set a reminder to vote against them on election day. Very proud to have worked on this project! Tell congress to draft laws, not tweets.
