The 'Leeds Electronic Music Forum' project aims to provide a platform for communication and education between members of Leeds rich electronic music sector, delivering discussion points through workshops, panel discussions, and art demonstrations. The purpose of the events are to provide access to this industry for people of different background involved in the scene to strengthen the network structure and enrich the cultural significance of the Leeds dance music community. Conversations can be made through shared interests amongst industry members and those who may not have the same access as those involved, supporting collaborations to improve attendees professional and social networks as well as employability skills. The first event was a screening of the film "Manchester Keeps on Dancing" followed by a question and answer discussion with the film's producer as well as contributors to the film.
