LENS TO THE RUNWAY

Lens To Runway was a series of cultural interventions that immersed audiences in an experience exploring the influences on various genres of expression and fashion trends, centered on amplifying Black voices at the emotional core. As part of this project, I served as the stylist for the models, curated and coordinated the catwalk presentations, and assisted with various ad hoc tasks to ensure the event's success. With over 500 attendees, Lens To Runway proved to be a successful gathering, drawing in a diverse audience eager to engage with the intersection of culture, fashion, and identity. Through meticulous styling and thoughtful curation, we brought to life a dynamic showcase celebrating the richness and diversity of Black voices in the fashion industry and beyond. Lens To Runway transcended the traditional fashion show format, serving as a cultural platform that sparked meaningful conversations and empowered Black voices in the world of fashion and beyond. It was an honor to play a role in bringing this vision to life, and I am proud to have contributed to an event that left a lasting impact on its attendees.
