Libertad o Muerte: Freedom or death; the motto for the country of Uruguay.
Uruguay is ranked first in Latin America in democracy, peace and lack of corruption*, it is also known as Latin America's best kept secret, or at least that's what family would tell you. Growing up in Australia with a Uruguayan identity and greater understanding of Uruguayan culture than Australian I found myself heading towards this unkonown land at the age of 17, there I found myself in my home away from home.
