Liberty London - Home and Interiors

Elements for Liberty London's Home and Interiors press event, designed during my Graphic Design internship.

A new identity was needed for the press event, this would be applied across an e-vite, in the event space and for the press release.
Keeping Liberty London's secondary typeface, Bluu was introduced as a modern twist on a serif typeface. A coinciding launch was the Open Call winning designs, which was to be incorporated, so the sharp cut type contrasted well with the variety of organic patterns. The e-vite celebrated the ‘collection’ and a GIF allowed each design to be showcased.
From this initial branding, the main components were implemented through to the in-store brand biographies and wayfinding. The map was developed as a storytelling tool and memorable product. The concertina fold allowed one side to focus on the map and another side on the Open Call designs.
The press release was a newly designed tool so to make it eye-catching and easily readable on any device a continuous scroll document was designed. Images and hierarchy in the copy allowed breaks in the read and made it more engaging.
