I would always consider Sean as my best friend. We went through Primary School and High School together, he even came with me and held my hand for over an hour while I had my first tattoo. It was a shock to me when he came out as gay, not because he was gay, but because I only found out through a Facebook post. It was my own fault I found out this way. I should never have made him feel like I would have treated him any differently.
I believe that everyone has the right to be happy, even if that's being in a same sex relationship or changing your whole life to become who you really are.
