Carmeuse Brasil, a multinational company offering lime-based solutions, has recently established its new headquarters in Belo Horizonte. The company adheres to ultramodern policies for people and resource management, operating in full compliance with environmental and social impact protocols in the areas it serves. The signage of the headquarters highlighted the company’s innovation, reflected in its architectural project. Translucent materials and organic shapes were applied throughout, from restroom signs to meeting rooms named after iconic cities in Minas Gerais. The signage at the Formiga plant prioritized materials, shapes, and colors that harmonize with the surroundings, bringing a light and functional visual language to both employees and visitors. Lightness, to treat the visual communication of companies committed to conscious mining. Versatility, to convey care and respect, which are the most important aspects for people. These were the concepts applied to the project, which I will soon share in more detail here. I am very proud of the results of this work.
