Liminal Illumination

This project is a visual study that explores the everyday creative phenomenon of observation. Through the presentation of visually ambiguous urban worlds it aims to engage the audience to consider the relativity of perception and its potential spiritual and philosophical implications. Slowly the images move the viewer from mere comprehension to a heightened awareness of the interplay of structure and light that surrounds us, highlighting the active role observation plays in the creation of reality. This project was completed as my final university project, and concluded with a final series of images, an 80 page book, as well as website design and associated promotional material.
