Liminal Spaces are generic locations that can feel vaguely familiar, as if we've either dreamed it or been in a similar situation at some point in our lives, but are also eerie and otherworldly because they are impossible to locate and appear to transcend time and space. It is a feeling rather than a definition, an atmosphere, and a psychological phenomenon that many of us share. Each person’s response to a certain space will have different outcomes depending on their own subjective experience and memories, however, these settings present us with familiar places in strange contexts, making the majority feel uncomfortable, lonely and anxious.
