Just a platform I have created for myself in order to articulate my thoughts in the plight of the BLM movement. Being a black woman, I feel that sharing stories and being an advocate for other black people is more important than it's ever been and this is one way I can help to share my stories and perhaps be an advocate for many others.
In the plight of what is happening in regard to the killing of Black people, I felt compelled to start a blog which was to articulate how I feel about everything that's going on and to begin a platform for myself to share some of things I have experienced throughout my life and will most probably continue to face.
Since the height of the Black Lives Matter movement, I have felt more than ever that sharing some of things that you've witnessed, experienced and felt in regard to racism is something which I feel is important to address especially if we are to move forward as a society.
There is no room for comfortability in the process of change.
