Creating a narrative with a collection of random images is a hard job but choosing how to execute that narrative is even harder. I was inspired by comics for this particular project as comics mostly contain graphics to convey most of the action or emotions. But I didn't want my version to have any speech bubbles or text because I wanted the viewer to create their own narrative for this piece by just what they see.
The reason why I went with lino print is honestly because I had never tried it. That's not only the mere reason why I chose this traditional technique but also because I like the grittiness and imperfections you achieve from it, which a computer can't acheive.
I always like a mix of something, especially if it's a mix of traditional and digital. The thought of comic books having a sense of motion to their pages sparked this idea of experimenting with a lenticular sheet. It was my first ever try at lenticular art so the final result didn't turnup as expected but I think I was close.
