Central Saint Martins MA Culture, Criticism and Curation students were invited to co-host an event at Liverpool John Moores University as part of the 2018 Liverpool Biennial.
The event included short films produced by students in response to the Biennial. The discussion around these films centred around a number of critical questions, including:
To what extent does the curator become an artist?
How can we address issues of authorship in our work?
How can film be used as a mode of curatorial research?
'A Visual Compendium of Travel', produced by myself and Julia Gros, addressed issue of borders and collaboration, in an increasingly globalised art world.
Below are some stills from the film.
