Lockdown Album Series

  • Charlee Kieser

Over Lockdown Three, I have been creating album covers and the surrounding paraphernalia that is produced alongside them. These albums are based on fellow creators, friends and flatmates - a loving mix of our limited social interactions and the products that help us get through it all.

This is myself as an album cover - inspired by neon wave aesthetics and the 80s. I used a combination of self portraiture, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
The above image is the full set of graphics and mockups I created for my own installment of the Lockdown Album Series. I created a leaflet that would be included within the vinyl record, as well as a sticker. This particular set revolves around my struggles with mental health, playing on the word 'Hits' in the album title.
This set of graphics and mockups is based on a dear friend and poet, and was modelled off of Tyler the Creator's 'Scum Fuck Flower Boy' album. The oat milk carton and leaflet also were attempts at exploring a marketing campain between two unrelated products.
