Lockdown Wardrobe

  • Martha Tambini Cooper

A hat, a pair of trousers, a waistcoat and a dressing gown. Each depicting an individual's experience of isolation in the first lockdown. The hat shows walking round their garden whilst listening to podcasts. The trousers have an embroidered overflowing bin, which was some of London's response- day drinking in the park. The waistcoat was my grandad's response, contemplating changing his style, to be a cowboy, come out of lockdown a new man. The dressing gown had the self-portraits of my lockdown home.
