London after dark

  • Edo Zollo

Through my work, I aim to capture the nighttime streets of London and portray them in a cinematic way, as if my photos are stills from a movie - a vignette, almost. I like my images to be impactful, but ambiguous enough (using silhouettes and low lights is predominant in my style) so that the viewer can make up their own mind about the story. It’s like there is a feeling of something either having just happened or something that is about to happen. I prefer to shoot very late at night. I initially used photography as a way of coping with insomnia and documenting my own feelings and mood. However, that theme stayed with me and it has since become my passion.
