London Borough of Lambeth

Joining forces with a private developer, the London Borough of Lambeth is in the process of completing a major regeneration scheme in the heart of Lambeth. The scheme includes building 194 hew homes, new landscaped public areas, a New Civic Centre and the refurbishment of the existing Grade II Listed Town Hall building. We have been working alongside our sister company, Cartwright Pickard, to provide workplace consultancy services, ensuring the council successfully adapt to their new and refurbished headquarters. Our aim has been to introduce new ways of working, allowing the council to work in a more efficient, collaborative and integrated manner in their new, open plan office accommodations. Alongside the workplace consultancy, we have also been providing interior design advice, assisting in the selection of furniture, finishes, arts and graphics and the design of bespoke joinery. Materials and colours were carefully selected to respect the character of the building whilst providing a functional space that reflects the council’s spirit and ethos.
