LONDON FASHION WEEK: A LOOK BACK IN TIME

London Fashion Week 2017 begins today and so we are taking a look back at the most iconic moments of London Fashion Week over the years.
The event all started in 1984 in a West London car park. It saw the debut of fashion icons such as Betty Jackson and David Fielden.
When the recession hit, only a handful of designers show cased their work in a few rooms at the Ritz during 1992.
A year later, London Fashion Week was back to form with Naomi Campbell infamously modelling topless on the catwalk for the Philip Treacy collection.
In 1995 student designer Stella McCartney rose to success with her entire collection selling out after the 1995 Spring/Summer show.

CARA DELEVINGNE MAKES HER CATWALK DEBUT

Cara Delevingne, then just 18, made her catwalk debut for Clements Ribiero back in September 2010.

HOUSE OF HOLLAND AND HIS FASHION RHYMING SLANG

In 2008, Henry Holland debuted his now iconic rhyming slang T-shirts featuring phrases aimed at the fashion set, including "I've got more than a handful for Naomi Campbell," and "Wham Bam Thank You Stam".
