London Fashion Week AW24

Last February I had the opportunity to visually report and photograph the British Fashion spectacle. This season I'd the privilege to capture more behind the scenes, front row and pre-show coverage of the most prominent, established and emerging designers, both as a freelance photographer and to create exclusive content for Dutch Fashion Media. I've tried to vividly document the city in the atmosphere of Fashion Week, the mix of heritage & rebelliousness, both on the streets and what has been showcased on this season's runways. London is a profound eclectic city when it comes to the arts, its people, cultures & fashion. The young 'New Gen' designers who push the edges and let progressive & revolutionary ideologies shine through their designs. While the traditional 'British Heritage looks' in abundance and class are still prominently visible as well. When photographing fashion week, I tend to look for the so-called 'clash' & overlaps between these two opposites in the contemporary British fashion landscape.
