London Mural Festival with Jo Hicks

Jo's mural features Claudia Jones, a leader in the fight against inequality and oppression. In 1958, Claudia Jones founded the West Indian Gazette, Britain's first black newspaper. Through her efforts for the expression of art and freedom she went on to found the infamous Notting Hill Carnival.
