London on a Plate is an originally curated restaurant, market and shopping app for great foodie places in London. It features over 100 recipes from top London chefs, images of some of our favourite markets and their owners and maps that help you get to our listed venues. The app reached number 7 in the iTunes lifestyle chart on launch and was voted one of "The Olympic Best Restaurant Apps" in August 2012 by the Evening Standard's Victoria Stewart.
I worked with London on a Plate for four years, creating and editing all of the blog content and publishing updates to the app. I decided which restaurants, hotels and bars should be featured, fielding press invites for the most exciting options.
More than just a review space, London on a Plate covered venues from a holistic viewpoint, describing the concept, atmosphere, food, decor and service.
