Photographer Location: Salary: A luxury fashion e-commerce studio looking for a fashion photographer to join a busy photography production studio. Job Summary You will be working as part of creative team, delivering photographic images in line with SLA’s and quality guidelines across all diverse product categories of womenswear and menswear apparel. Product will be photographed on Model, mannequins or table top, as a photographer responsibly for daily shoot list you will ensure that product is presented accurately, with customer focus at the forefront and inline with shooting and styling guidelines. Focusing on daily targets and quality of the output you will be pivotal part of creative team driving the production forward working closely as a team with a stylist who is responsible for look and feel of the styling element of the apparel. Objectives Accountable for the delivery of photographic images in line with productivity SLA’s and quality guidelines across all diverse product categories. Shot to a high level with excellent attention to detail. Efficient delivery of daily model and still life shoots. Driven in reviewing, refreshing and improving the standards of all photography inline with client expectation and guidelines in place. You will be responsible for facilitating the smooth flow of the sample from photography stage of physical apparel samples to deliver a digital asset to online retail. Key Responsibilities Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Shooting Model and still life imagery in line with agreed productivity SLA’s. All products to be shot in accordance with the shoot guide demonstrating excellent technical understanding, attention to detail and consistent quality. Working collaboratively in the studio on all shoots with a team of photographers, stylists, retouchers demonstrating an excellent understanding of shoot guidelines and studio processes while reporting directly to studio manager and taking direction from studio manager. Regularly reviewing new in product pages to ensure still life imagery going live is of the highest standard, identify and action reshoots where necessary. Ensuring that all products are lit correctly, efficiently and inline with agreed guidelines. Producing consistently high quality images, ensuring they are correctly exposed and colour consistent. Setting up appropriate lighting and keeping accurate daily shoot records. Image selection and processing. Meeting personal targets and daily and weekly deadlines Contributing towards still life imagery reviews, demonstrating competitor awareness and being proactive in presenting opportunities for improvement. Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with team members and other departments. Motivate the photography and styling team to deliver exceptional results. To understand the end to end process for each type of product and be able to mentor/train new staff that may be introduced during peak periods. Ensure all photographic equipment and studio space is maintained. Making sure that all shoots adhere to company workflows and requirements inine with specified file naming conventions and image processing workflows. Key Skills, Knowledge & Experience As a lead photographer, you should have a proven experience in digital photography in a commercial studio environment. Experience of having led a small photographic team. Degree in Photography or equivalent Excellent photographic/technical understanding. Ability to art direct and also take direction, working well alone and in a team. Experience in working with models and directing models. A perfectionist with exceptional attention to detail. Excellent understanding of photographic studio practice. Good interpersonal skills and a team player. The ability to work in a fast paced studio environment, adaptable and responsive to rapid change. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and work under pressure. Proactive, with a willingness to go the extra mile Forward thinker with good use of initiative.
