Lost and Found

  • Zofia Kierkus

series of photographs shot on: Yashica FX-3, 35mm black and white film Lost and found is an attempt to break boundaries between body, architecture and natural forms. Photographs explore parallel worlds re-invented in a new context, initiating the following questions: What is the border between human and nature? Building and body? How do we perceive the human body when it’s captured almost as if they were a spatial form? Finding connections between behaviours, rituals, nature and modern world, the multi-disciplinary artist creates her own scenarios and narratives, critically questioning different concepts and ideas of contemporary world. // Selected works from the series “Lost and found” were exhibited on the group show “De-/Reconstruct” organised by The Curation Society UAL on the 1st and 2nd of June 2022 at Safehouse 1, London.
