Lost In The Mountains

My collection ‘Lost in the Mountains’ is inspired by mental health and how it can be positively affected and improved through living an alpinist lifestyle, represented through skiwear heritage. Looking at contemporary silhouettes inspired throughout skiwear history merging both past and future fashion. Responding to this through vibrant fabric, digital prints and laser etching manipulated from hand draw responses. Reusing old skiwear to create up cycled and sustainable accessories. Sourcing fabrics locally within Scotland, receiving a sponsorship from Halley Stevenson wax cotton manufactures. Bringing to light the positive mental impact of skiing through innovated design.
