Louis Theroux’s LA Stories

Full post production on 3 x 60 min factual series for BBC 2.

Louis looks at LA’s problem with neglected and feral dogs; the experiences of patients with life-threatening conditions at the city’s most famous hospital; and examines how California deals with sex offenders after they are released from prison.

In the first programme of his new series, Louis Theroux’s LA Stories, Louis enters the bizarre world of LA’s dogs, meeting the characters whose lives revolve around the city’s huge canine population.

Shot in LA, this series of Louis Theroux was posted across both The Farm’s LA and London facilities. Rushes were sent via high speed file transfer to be ingested into Avid Media Composer. Episodes were seamlessly cut and finished in both London and LA.

Sonny Sheridan graded the three-part series on the Nucoda Film Master, Nick Fry mixed the audio with Pro Tools 11 and Tam Osman completed the online for series with Avid Symphony.
